This site can be a useful method of obtaining specific deer data from across Alabama. The extent to which this data may prove beneficial depends upon the frequency and accuracy of information provided by the state’s deer hunters. With increased public awareness of this data gathering tool, a larger, more reliable data set may result. With sufficient data, Wildlife Biologists with the Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries will be able to use this information to examine trends in harvest and physical condition of deer across the state.
